Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women

Women's History Month 2025

3/6/20252 min read

For too long, Indigenous women and girls have gone missing or been murdered, their cases ignored, their stories left untold. But their families, communities, and advocates refuse to let them be forgotten.

The Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) movement is a powerful force for justice, resilience, and change. From red handprints painted across faces to marches, art, and legislation, Indigenous voices are rising—demanding safety, accountability, and the right to simply exist without fear.

Their strength is unbreakable. Their spirits endure. No more stolen sisters.
